Boldium Wins Big for AI Storytelling Innovation

We’re proud to share that Magic Tale, our AI-powered storytelling app for kids, had a big awards season. It was nominated for a Webby Award—the internet’s most prestigious honor—and won a Silver Anthem Award, the world’s top recognition for social impact in tech.

Boldium designed and built Magic Tale in-house—driven by our commitment to innovating with emerging technology and using it in ways that truly serve people. When new tools like AI come along, we’re always eager to push the boundaries, stay ahead of the curve, and learn how to get the best of the technology without losing sight of the human experience at its core.

Where Storytelling Meets AI

Magic Tale uses generative AI to create personalized, interactive stories for kids based on their interests, reading level, and personal challenges. Each story becomes a unique adventure—with the child’s character as the hero—making reading feel more exciting, accessible, and relevant.

But the technology is only half the story.

We built Magic Tale to help address a deeper challenge: the literacy gap. Many children, especially in underserved communities, lack access to storytelling which is key for building literacy skills. With AI, we’re able to remove barriers—scaling personalized storytelling in a way that was never before possible.

Awards That Recognize Purpose-Driven Design

The Anthem Awards, presented by the Webby Awards organization, celebrate the world’s most mission-driven work across tech, media, and culture. Winning Silver in the Education, Art & Culture category reinforces our commitment to building AI that serves real human needs—especially for the next generation.

Our Webby nomination placed Magic Tale in extraordinary company—alongside global icons like Sesame Street, Google, and the Natural History Museum. It was a proud and humbling milestone for our team.

What’s Next for Magic Tale

As the role of AI in kids’ lives continues to evolve, we see Magic Tale as part of a larger shift—one where technology can support creativity, equity, and emotional connection. We’re actively expanding the app’s capabilities, deepening its personalization features, and exploring new ways to partner with others.

This recognition energizes us. It reminds us why we do the work—and how powerful AI can be when it’s used to amplify human creativity and connection. Thanks to the Anthem and Webby Awards for seeing the potential in Magic Tale. We’re just getting started.
